Fourth Grade's Complementary Colored Spheres

Fourth graders learned about complementary colors for this project. Complementary colors are located across from each other on the color wheel. The main sets of complements are red/green, orange/blue, and yellow/violet. They learned that this type of complement is spelled with an "e" instead of an "i" like a compliment when you tell someone something nice! :) Complementary colors when mixed, make brown. Sometimes you might want to make brown, but for this project we didn't--so we had to be very careful when painting.
