Third Grade's Fish Bowls

Third Graders learned how to paint something that is inside of something else...that something happened to be fish inside a fish bowl! After practicing and discussing how to draw different fish and the details that could go inside the fish bowl and around the fish bowl, the third graders drew their pictures. Then, they outlined the entire picture in marker and we turned our markers into PAINT. By putting just a little bit of water on the paintbrush and carefully brushing it onto the marker, it spread the markers almost like watercolors. The results were too awesome!
